On 17 April 2001, FMAC held its first Winemakers’ Dinner at Prego Della Piazza in Yorkville, highlighting the wines of Pillitteri Vineyards. Charles Pillitteri, Mark Reimer, and Deron Mitchell (of Halpern Enterprises) led us through a five-course meal and a different glass of Pillitteri vino tailored for each course.
Deron Mitchell, Pillitteri’s distributor, offered the FMAC membership the opportunity to order selected Pillitteri wines (and others distributed by Halpern Enterprises) by the case at distributor prices.
