FMAC
Scores Big on Second Annual Charity Drive
EVEN
MOTHER NATURE was
in a giving mood this year as some 120 golfers from the financial markets
gathered at the Angus Glen Golf and Country Club in Markham for the 2nd
Annual FMAC Charity Golf Classic, Saturday, 20 June. Storm clouds that
were gathering as the round started soon melted away to a pleasant mix
of sun and cloud keeping players dry and scores impressively low.
The
day turned out to be classic for both charity and golf. Course
conditions were near perfect and the courteous and helpful staff at Angus
Glen worked hard on and off the course to help make the day come off without
a hitch.

In
addition to a pleasant afternoon of golf, the day was marked by a tremendous
outpouring of generosity by bankers, brokers, sponsors and prize donors
alike raising some $45,000 for the traditional beneficiary, The Hospital
for Sick Children. Congratulations and thank you to all who participated
in making this years event an unqualified success.
