This year’s annual FMAC dinner, held in Vancouver, was highlighted by our guest speaker, Mr Gordon Campbell. Leader of the BC Liberal Party. Mr Campbell used this speaking opportunity to voice his party’s policy positions on issues ranging from Education to Job Creation. Mr Campbell was Mayor of the City of Vancouver for seven years before seeking the leadership of the BC Liberal Party in 1993. Knowing that he was speaking to an international business audience, Mr Campbell mainly discussed his vision of restoring the BC economy by rebuilding its resource industry back to world leader status. The event was well attended by both Western and Eastern FMAC members. Special thanks to the crew from CIBC who planned and co-ordinated the annual dinner.

FMAC Summer Party, Toronto, Ontario

The Annual Summer Party is planned for Thursday, 30 July, at The Docks (11 Polson St.).
